Random Summer Pictures

OK...so this summer has been so busy, and now it's gone, and I still have a ton of pictures that I didn't get online, so here is a generic "catch up" entry. I apologize in advance because I didn't realize how many there are...I hope you have a lot of time on your hands:) Enjoy!
These were taken during a nice summer rain that we had one afternoon. Kaiden, Conner and neighbor Ethan grabbed some umbrellas and ran around in the rain for a little while...boys will be boys!

Kaiden's first year of Vacation Bible School stared out with a "bang". The first day, they had a contest in which the kids got to guess how many pieces of candy were in the bucket, and guess who won within 3...yup, over 200 pieces of candy. YAY!
Kaiden and his fireman hat from halloween a couple years ago...
We were very fortunate this year to have a hot tub fall in our laps...so the next few pictures are of the boys "helping" Ken build out the deck a little more so we had a place to put it...
They loved to drill and hammer just like daddy. At one point, Conner went inside and brought out HIS chainsaw, screwdriver and hammer... They didn't work all too well, so daddy let him help with the real ones...

Kaiden had a lot of fun helping, too.

At one point, Kaiden had climbed into the cab of Ken's truck, put on his ear protection, and buckled himself in. Sometimes you just have to wonder what they're thinking, right?
These few pictures were taken the morning that we were going in to be induced. They were waiting to go to a neighbor's house to get Kaiden dropped at school, and for Conner to play for a little while. They were so hyper and out of sorts b/c Ken was home, and it could have also been the pop tarts that we may have fed them for breakfast...

MMMMM.....Smores. We were only able to have a fire in the pit one time this summer, but it was oh so yummy!

What a wonderful, fun summer we had. Although we are sad that it went by so quickly, we can't wait to marvel at the next season God has given us...so bring on the sweatshirts, sweaters, and nice fuzzy socks of fall!
