The boys were very excited, as you can see by Kaiden in his life vest...I held them off with a puzzle while the rest of us were getting ready.

Great Wolf Lodge...take 1
A couple weeks ago we traveled up to Traverse City to go to the Great Wolf Lodge. We grabbed Kadien out of school a couple hours early and surprised him (he was a little confused), but once he relaxed and finally understood what we were doing he was VERY excited. Both of them were. He was your stereotypical, excited little kid on our way up. We kept hearing "are we almost there?" and "Is that it?" every 10 minutes or so. We had a GREAT time the first night we were there, but during the night, Conner developed a fever and was not into it the next day. We ended up staying not quite 24 hrs, but luckily Kaiden and Ken were able to go play more before we left the next day. (We found out later that Conner had a UTI and a double ear infection). We will definately go back...We had a blast!

Natalie was really cute in her 'too big' swim suit. Even the swim diapers were huge on her...She was a little apprehensive with the water, but warmed up to it and was splashing away by the end of the weekend.
They had a great big throne-like chair that the boys were able to get a picture in...
The offiicial "mascot" of the GWL, I guess he's a wolf :)

There is a little show that they put on a couple times a day. The animals and trees "come alive" and sing and dance, then there is a story that is read by one of the workers and the mascot comes out to meet all the kids.

Daddy and his girl.
Listening to the story.
And even Natalie got to meet the wolf...Very fun time!!!
