Forts!

Conner LOVES to build a fort in their room and sleep under it. We haven't done it a whole lot this summer...I just keep forgetting. Well, we set it up 2 days ago and they've slept GREAT under it. I may not ever put them back in their beds! Just kidding... They have so much fun together! So. Much. Fun.

Summer Snippits

So, I know...Poor little Natalie has fallen victim to the dreaded "third child syndrom". I never seem to have my camera with me, and thus there are few pictures of the summer with her! I had to literally FORCE myself to walk into the house and get it while she was in the trampolene yesterday! I have SO many of the boys at this stage, but alas...I've failed her. This would be my New Year's Resolution August Resolution. I'm thinking I shall maybe attempt a month of pictures (one a day) in the near future. Stay tuned...
Anyway. We have had some SUPERB weather lately...And just look at that grass, will you? I tell you...My husband really should have a job taking care of grass because he does such a good job at it. Really. Oh, yeah. He does.

Conner and his cars. His true loves are his matchbox cars. Seriously! Even dad got a chance to relax.
And Natalie had her "driver" drive her around for a while. She loves that Jeep! We may have to paint it pink. Just kidding.

The BOAT :)

Well. All I can say is...I "lost". It was between a boat (Ken) and a camper (me) and obviously, My husband and his yearning for a boat for YEARS won. I guess I can't really say I "LOST"...because I *heart* it so much!!! We were blessed to be able to come across this boat on Craigslist (my new FAV!) and it was too good of a deal to pass by.

So yesterday, we packed a picnic dinner and headed out on the boat for the beginning of some new memories in our lives!
My loyal, faithful, loving captain... I *heart* him, too!
The first of many pics of my babies on our boat
Kaiden trying out the tube! He did a great job and even hit some huge waves! Loved it the whole time and hated getting off it.
Conner the "spotter"...
He even got on the tube once. It unfortunately didn't go as planned. Ken took off a little too slow and the front of the tube went under, and Conner followed. He came up a second later coughing and gagging on water...didn't want to get back on it, but then changed his mind when his bigger brother offered to get on it with him :)
Bring on the memories!!!

And speaking of games...

What???? Nobody said anything about games? Oh well. Anyway, since we're on the subject now, Kaiden is showing off his "Poker Face"...
While beating the pants off his mom! When did this kid become such a card shark?!??
And they're all-time-most-favorite-game-of-the-moment...
Guess...What...
I...Am!!!

Guess who...

...Needs a pedicure?!?!Little miss "Fancy pants"! Or maybe some slippers would look a little better since her mommy hasn't gotten her out of her P.J.'s yet!
Oh well. It's just the beginning of her shoe-fettish. She loves her shoes!!!

Jammin' to the tunes!

Someone found mommies MP3..........
She's gotta use something to hold that hair down! ;-)

4th of July

We hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July this year! Here it was about 85* and sunny. A perfect day for hanging out with family, eating good food and making memories.
This is little Kate. My adorable niece. Looks like she had a fun-filled day! So much fun, she couldn't stand it anymore and her little , blue eyes needed a break.

Kaiden just being Kaiden. Such a ham all the time and always ready for a photo shoot!
The dreaded singing fish. This was a gift from Papa Bob...Now on the 4th, Rogan (my nephew) decided that this fish needed to go for a swim... in the kiddie pool. Needless to say the fish drowned. Note to self: Battery operated fish do not swim. They drown.
Although after the fish was submerged into the water, Natalie really thought the "Alvin and the chipmunk" sounding fish could still jam, and she got her groove on!
And she danced, and danced and danced....
Family enjoying the sunshine and company...
...And some enjoying a good nap. He's lucky a fly didn't land in his mouth :)
Grandpa Mark getting BLASTED with the water guns.

Where did this blonde-haired, blue-eyed guy come from?!? Having fun with ladderball and suckers!Look who Uncle Charly found...
Great food. Great company!
And they played.... And played....

And played some more!!!
